Our Vision: From Concept to Reality
It all started with a shared vision between me and my colleague, Guy Ben-Aharon. We saw the need for a smarter way to work with data - a way that empowers developers to feel confident, productive, and inspired every time they interact with their databases.
Buckle is more than just another database tool. We’re creating a copilot for your data - one that turns querying, visualization, and management into a seamless experience. We’re committed to building a product that’s both powerful and intuitive, focusing on simplicity and functionality in every feature we add.
Why We Started with ChartDB
We launched ChartDB as our first step in this journey. ChartDB, an open-source database design editor, was a passion project that took off faster than we imagined. Within three days of our Hacker News launch, ChartDB gained over 1,000 stars on GitHub, thanks to the support of developers like you.
ChartDB has shown us the demand for tools that simplify database visualization and design, and we’re listening. We’ve created a roadmap based on your feedback, and we’re already building new features to make ChartDB even more robust. As part of our long-term vision, ChartDB will serve as an incubator for innovative, premium features that will be incorporated into Buckle.
